Liz Syms has been providing mortgage and financial advice for over 25 years. Liz and her team of over 70 staff provide advice across a range of mortgages with particular strength in the specialist sector. In 2012, Liz set up a Specialist Mortgage Network. This award-winning network now supports over 300 mortgage Advisers who operate in the mainstream market and provide advice in specialist areas such as complex buy-to-let, commercial, bridging and development. Liz spends a large part of her time delivering training and content that focuses on the adviser's perspective of the market. Liz is also the Vice Chair of the Society of Mortgage Professionals and sits as a board adviser for the trade body FIBA (The Financial Intermediary and Broker Association). Liz is the author of the Buy to Let topic of the LIBF accreditation called 'The Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance' and recently assisted FIBA and LIBF in bringing this new qualification (CPSP) for specialist advice to the market.
